New technologies, approaches and tools are emerging daily, unfortunately into a fragmented and immature digital health market landscape that currently limits their promise to transform country health systems and accelerate and amplify progress towards national and global health goals.

 

PATH is currently recruiting for a Program Associate to be based in New Delhi.

 

PATH is looking for highly motivated, self-starter, and enthusiastic individual to work with the young and dynamic COVID-19 project team. The Program Associate will get an opportunity to operate in a zestful and evolving environment to contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in public health.

 

Key responsibilities will be to provide support on activities including, but not limited to knowledge management, assistance in project management, internal coordination, secondary technical research and decks & program strategy documents for the project.

 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for Program Associate include, but are not limited to the following:

 

·         Undertake knowledge management by collecting and collating information available for

the COVID-19 scenario & carry out analysis of data being reported in the public domain.

·         Undertake landscape assessments to seek, sense and analyze trends in the funding environment and develop strategy documents.

·         Conduct secondary research and landscape analysis for material contributing to the development of concept notes and proposals.

·         Carry out landscaping of COVID-19 control policy efforts in India and the States.

·         Provide support to projects with key insights in the COVID-19 and infectious policy sphere.

·         Support the team in coordinating the project management process internally within PATH & external stakeholders.

·         Support the team in preparing for meetings internally and externally, including conducting background research on meeting participants and organization focus areas.

·         Deliver any other need-based tasks as requested by the project manager.

·         Support the team in coordinating the strategy initiatives and proposal development process with PATH internal and external stakeholders.

·         Undertake knowledge management by collecting and collating information available under each vertical. This would also include creating and updating program strategy documents and decks.

·         Undertake landscape assessments to seek, sense and analyze trends in the funding environment and develop strategy documents for each vertical to achieve desired objectives.

 

  

Required Experience

 

·         Master’s degree at a reputed graduate school with relevant experience of 2-4 years of working in public health organizations. Experience of COVID-19 technical/policy/documentation work is desirable.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.

·         Comfort with collaborating across all levels of leadership internally.

·         Critical analysis and strong report writing skills.

·         Demonstrated capacity-building approach to support staff development.

·         Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure.

·         Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

·         Excellent in written and spoken English.

 

 

Must have legal authorization to work in India.
