Job Description
PATH

PATH
began its work in India in the late 1990s, bringing governments, communities,
private-sector companies, and experienced public health practitioners together
to address some of the country’s most crucial health problems. In early 2000,
the scope of our India program expanded with a major immunization initiative
for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Today, PATH’s India projects focus on TB,
HIV/AIDS, immunization, injection safety, maternal health, and more.
PATH
is seeking for a Data Coordinator who will support the SI related activities and implementation
of HIV projects. S/He will support the implementation of the project according
to the expectations from the donor, National Aids Control Organization (NACO)
and other partners, including sub-national stakeholders in selected regions
that PATH will be supporting.
Data
Coordinator will support NACO in maintaining and supporting the NACP Data Hub,
NACP Dashboard and implementing Data Quality Management (DQM) guidelines. S/he
will also support NACO in routine programme monitoring & data analysis.
S/he will provide technical support to Strategic Information division (SI),
NACO.
Responsibilities: S/he
will provide support for following:

Coordination for M&E
related activities.
·
Coordination with divisions of
NACO for collating data sets for NACP Data Hub and other SI activities.
·
Timely updating information on
NACP dashboards & NACP data hub.
·
Supporting NACO in SI related
capacity building workshop, training, field visits, review meeting etc.
·
Work closely with the HIV team
to ensure coordination and integration of all project activities in overall
implementation.
·
Provide regular updates to NACO
and key stakeholders on HIV projects.
·
Provide technical support for
monitoring reporting, evaluation, and documentation in a timely manner.
·
Assist with other programmatic
and administrative duties as required for successful implementation of HIV
program activities.
·
Any other work assigned by the
Supervisor.
Required Experience
·
Post graduate or equivalent
degree (regular full-time course) in Public Health / Statistics / Demography /
Population science / Epidemiology/ Social Sciences / or related field, from a
reputed institute.
·
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant
work experience in HIV, with demonstrated skills in Monitoring and Evaluation
and experience in handling of large data sets.
·
High level proficiency in
MS-Office package, data analysis software’s.
·
Excellent analytical,
communication, presentation and report writing skills.
Desirable:
·
Demonstrated understanding of
and familiarity with a range of SI approaches including M&E.
·
Experience in developing
M&E reports, dashboards, scorecards.
·
Experience in GIS.
