PATH India is seeking a "Finance Analyst" responsible for country level budgeting and forecasting processes as well as providing timely financial reporting and analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis. This position will also play an important role in supporting the regional level risk management process, lead in Bids and Proposals (B&P), and mange Shared Service function for India. This position shall report to Assistant Controller. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Facilitate the development of country level Budget and forecast including Quarterly Budget Reviews.

·         Develop and maintain Key financial reports for country performance including Project status report (PSR) and financial outlook.

·         Prepare and track Overhead budget for India and review program, facility, and other budgets on regular basis.

·         Track all deliverable of all Awards and Agreements and follow up with the PADM for their completions.

·         Anchor Grant committee meeting in coordination with Responsible Project Manager /

PADM, as necessary.

·         Keep a track of Quarterly Budget review (QBR) process timeline.

·         Lead HQ program finance review.

·         Provide necessary support during Statutory, Internal and Donor Audits, etc.

·         Maintain reporting calendar and issue updates periodically.

·         Communicate and track key dates such as Year-End Close (Global). Timely escalations of outstanding issues to management.

·         Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

·         Support finance team developing report templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and orientation of the staff.

·         Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

·         Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

·         Track, prepare and support in raising invoice relating to technical agreement between PATH and CHRI.

·         Custodian of all monthly and annual reports of PATH.

·         Support in finalizing various agreement like Confidential Disclosure Agreement, Consultancy Agreement, Technical Service Agreement, etc.

·         Responsible for shared service function, which does not form part of any specific program verticals.

·         Lead all B&P related budget, documentation, tracking expenditure, etc.

·         Provide necessary support including training to Shared Services with regard to their interface with finance.

·         Any other related tasks as assigned from time to time.

 

 

Required Experience

 

 

·         Postgraduate/Graduate degree in Finance and Accounting. Chartered Accountant will be an added advantage.

·         At least 5 years of significant experience in financial and accounting within a sizeable (for-profit or a non-profit) organization.

·         Advanced skill with Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions), Word and PowerPoint.

·         Experience in ERP based financial software is preferred.

·         Strong analytical and data gathering skills.

·         Knowledge of local laws like FCRA, Income-Tax, GST etc.

·         Well-organized with good follow-through skills.

·         Excellent English communication skills.

·         High attention to detail.

·         Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
