The IIHMR University, Jaipur, a postgraduate education and research University, has recently set-up the S.D.Gupta School of Public Health to promote public health education and research for better health outcomes. Dean’s position is a leadership position, who have programmatic, managerial, and fiscal responsibilities for the School. Dean’s role is significant in promoting and managing academics, research, training and responsible for setting organization culture by contributing time in School’s activities like: a) Teaching-Learning and Evaluation; b) Faculty Empowerment Strategies; c) Curriculum Design, Development, and Enrichment; d) Student Support and Progression; e) Student Admission (Recruiting) and Placement; f) Research and Consulting; g) Executive Education; and h) Resource Mobilization. She/he is required to work with faculty to ensure adherence to quality and accreditation standards, build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
She/he is expected to have proven leadership qualities and outstanding teaching and research credentials. She/he should be a distinguished academician with a minimum of fifteen years of experience with at least five years as a Dean/Professor in a University/Institution with demonstrated academic leadership.
The incumbent should be a PhD in Public Health/Health Systems or MD in Public Health/ PSM/ Community Medicine with relevant experience. Attractive compensation package and remuneration is not a constraint for a suitable candidate.
