Online applications are invited for direct recruitment of under mentioned categories of posts using the website of HARYANA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION i.e.  click here. The online application can be filled up from 07.09.2015 to 06.10.2015 till 5.00 p.m., thereafter website link will be disabled. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in advance without waiting for last date of submission of online application form. The printed copy of the online application form with necessary certificates must be brought at the time of verification/scrutiny-cum-interview. No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by the office. Qualifications/eligibility conditions, and other documents will be determined with regard to last date fixed to apply online applications also called as closing date                               i.e.06.10.2015 given in the advertisement. POLICE DEPARTMENT, HARYANA

Cat. No. 1             5000 posts of Male Constable (General Duty) (Re-advertised post).

(Gen=1650, SC=1000, BCA=800, BCB=550, SBC=500, EBPG=500)

E.Q                       i) The minimum educational qualification for the post of Constable shall be 10+2   for all categories.

ii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

                             Note:- As per rule 12.24 (1) (C) of Punjab Police Rules-1934, the break in service between the date of discharge and between the 1^st day of the month (i.e 01.09.2015). in which enrolment process is started, shall not exceed four years.

E.Q                       i) Graduate from a recognized University.

ii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

                              Physical Standard

1.          Height- 5”-8”

2.            Chest- 33” & with expansion of 1.5” provided that for the candidates belonging to Ex-Serviceman, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes categories, relaxation in physical standard to the extent of one inch in height and one inch in chest measurement shall be given.
