HMT Machine Tools Limited, Bangalore Complex, a Subsidiary
of HMT Limited, is a pioneer in manufacturing of Radial Drilling Machines,
Heavy, Medium and Light Duty Lathes, CNC & conventional Turning machines,
Gear Hobbers, etc. invites application from
technically qualified persons for undergoing advanced training under "Post Apprenticeship
Specialised Training Scheme" included in Govt. of India's Skill Development Programme
and also under „Shramev Jayate' initiative of HMT Machine Tools Limited.
The objective of this training will be to improve
employability and upgradation of the Skill by optimally utilizing the
infrastructure available with the Company and develop the Youth of Nation. The
Company believes that the benefits of 'demographic dividend' can be harnessed
through appropriate skill development efforts and thus achieving inclusion and
productivity within the country and also reducing global skill shortages.

Scope of Training : During the training period,
the trainees will be engaged for training on the critical machine and running
(trial) job of machines. The selected Trainees should be ready to take training
in shifts.
Remuneration & Benefits:
For imparting high quality training, real running
jobs/processes in the factory, the trainees will be paid a remuneration based
on the prevailing Karnataka Minimum Wages rate and additional
allowance of Rs.
1,000/-, Rs. 1,500/- & Rs. 2000/- for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd year of
training, respectively.
The trainees will be covered by an accident insurance only
for accidents occurring during the training inside the factory for a limited
liability of Rs. 1,00,000/- for the Company in the entire period of training at
the cost of the Company.
Canteen facility will be provided at subsidized rate.
Company's accommodation will be
provided subject to availability on payment of nominal rent including
electricity and water charges. Trainees can take Company's accommodation on
sharing basis, too.
Company's transport will be provided subject to
availability.
Leave
facilities :
Trainees will be eligible for 10 days Casual Leave and 10 days Sick Leave per
annum. No other benefit of leave will be extended.
Certificate : The trainees will be issued with
a Certificate with grade of merit after successful completion of training based
on their performance.
Agreement &
Bond :
Selected Trainees will be required to enter into an agreement with the Company
along with a Surety Bond as per rules of the Company.
Termination : In case of any misconduct
committed by the Trainee during the training period, the company may terminate
the training as per procedure of the company.
GENERAL
CONDITIONS :
•
The minimum age of Applicant should be 18 years and maximum
age should not be more than 30 years on the date of application.
•
The contract of training under PASTS shall terminate at the
expiry of the period of training. The tenure of the training automatically
ceased to exist, and for this purpose no separate communication will be given
to the trainee.
•
The posts are not against any permanent vacancy and this
placement will not ensure any regular /permanent employment in HMT Machine
Tools Limited in future.
•
Applications should be made in the prescribed application
format only along with copies of relevant documents.
•
Applicants who have undertaken Apprenticeship training with
HMT Machine Tools Limited will be given preference.
•
Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Applicants will be as per
Government Directives.
•
Any canvassing by or on behalf of the Applicant or to bring
political or other outside influence with regard to selection / engagement
shall be a disqualification.
•
Selection will be made by a Committee constituted by the
Competent Authority.
•
Documents in support of date of birth (SSLC marks card),
qualification, Caste/Category, disability Certificate (if applicable) shall be
submitted along with the Application at the time of interview. In the case of
non-submission of documents along with the Application, it will be rejected at
any stage during the process of engagement.
•
Candidature of the Applicant is liable to be rejected at
any stage of selection process or after engagement, if any information provided
by the Applicant is found to be false or not found in conformity with
eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
•
HMT Machine Tools Limited shall not be liable for any
damage / injury/loss to the individual, if any, sustained during the entire
selection process and journey.
•
HMT Machine Tools Limited reserves the right to assess
fitness or otherwise of the Applicant selected - to cancel/restrict/enlarge the
selection process without assigning any reason thereof, if need arise.
•
Applicant submitting incomplete application or testimonials
will not be allowed to appear for interview.
•
The legal jurisdiction will be Bangalore in case of any
dispute.
SELECTION:
•
Applicants who fulfils the above conditions, may appear for
'Walk-in-Interview' which will be held from 01.06.2015 to 05.06.2015 at 2PM in
the Office of Dy. General Manager (HR), HMT Machine Tools Limited, Bangalore
Complex, Jalahalli, Bangalore - 560 013. Applicants should reach the HRM
Department of HMT Machine Tools Limited, Bangalore Complex, Jalahalli,
Bangalore - 560 013 by 1.30 pm for verification of their documents.
•
Applicants appearing for walk-in-interview shall bring all
the relevant certificates, testimonials as prescribed for the post with
originals and one set of Photostat
copies of verified certificates and testimonials along with the properly filled
& signed Application Form.
•
Interviews shall be held by the Selection Committee of the
Company [HMT Machine Tools Limited, Bangalore Complex] constituted by the
Competent Authority.
•
The Applicant shall have to indicate his acceptance of the
training offer within one week from the receipt of offer, if not, the next
Applicant in order of merit will be given the offer of training on similar
lines. The Competent Authority may grant such extension of time depending upon
the exigencies.
•
The Applicant shall have to appear for walk-in-interview at
their own cost. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
