Essential Educational/Professional qualification & experience as per R&P Rules : Diploma in Civil Engineering of atleast three years duration in the trade of Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or an Institution duly recognized by the Central/H.P. Government with 5 years’ experience in Civil construction work preferably in hilly areas after passing diploma.

Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or an Institution duly

The Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited invites applications to appoint Individual Consultant(s) (Civil) to assist the Civil Contract cell of HPPCL in the following matters in context of HPPCL ‘s perspective:

 i) Provide assistance in the preparation and finalization of Bidding Documents for engaging contractors for the various projects allotted to HPPCL.
(ii) Provide advice on contractual interpretations, arbitration matters and replies to audit paras of ongoing / investigation projects.
(iii) Provide consultancy/ assistance in the preparation and finalization of Bidding Documents for Construction of Check Dam on Giri River for augmentation of water supply to Shimla City.
(iv) Provide assistance and facilitate dealing with routine works of Civil Contracts Cell, Processing of post award cases including contractual clarifications, Dispute Board/ Arbitration, vetting of replies from contractual point of view, to be filed before Dispute Boards, Arbitral Tribunals & Courts etc., cases pertaining to Alternate Dispute

Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India intends to engage the following position, purely on Contractual basis, initially for a period of Two years and invite application from interested and eligible candidates.

1. Consultant (General Correspondence) - 01 Position

Duties / Responsibilities : ▪ To prepare and coordinate in correspondences.

Age : 35-65 years Remuneration : Rs. 60,000/- per month

Required Educational Qualifications and Experience: a. Bachelor / Master Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized institution. b. The individual should be retired Central / State Government employee / Retired from PSU employee / Retired IIT employee at the Level 11 or above. OR The individual from Government / Semi-Government / Non-Government Sectors with minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in relevant field. c. The experience in river training / flood management / water resources / R&D in Water sector & have coordinated with institutions in water sector like State Irrigation, IITs / NITs / CWC / CWPRS / NH etc. would be essential.

2. Executive (Civil Engineering) – 01 Position  

Duties / Responsibilities : To assist the various proposals & coordinate in technical Civil Engineering Matters.

Age : 21-30 years Remuneration : Maximum of Rs. 30,000/- per month.
