CarbonFarm is the world's leading digital measurement, verification, and reporting (dMRV) provider for methane emission reduction in rice projects. CarbonFarm headquarters are in Paris and major operations are in Asia. To ensure qualitative dMRV the quality and consistency of ground data are essential. Ground data includes but is not limited to ground sensors, surveying campaigns, human review of AI-labeled inputs, and other services required from ground partners.
CarbonFarm is looking for an Operations Manager to be responsible for:
- Coordinating the sourcing of ground data
- Ensuring the quality of ground data
- Performing simple analyses and creating ops data dashboards
You will be working closely with the Business team of CarbonFarm, responsible for client management, as well as with the Technical team that is responsible for the downstream use of ground data.
We are looking for someone with a high level of autonomy and accountability. The incumbent needs to be capable and comfortable approaching, contracting, and working with geographically dispersed global teams with our projects while working in a remote setting. This position requires a high degree of organisational and project management skills. We are also looking for a person solution-oriented with an analytical mindset and constantly looking for the improvement of existing processes and tools.
Responsibilities
Coordinate operations & ground-data sourcing
- Serve as a customer-facing point of contact for coordination and operation-related topics with clients, ensuring alignment and smooth communication
- Understand or define business, technical, and quality criteria and constraints required for sourcing ground data
- Manage administrative aspects of sourcing local providers and equipment (deliveries of devices, payments, procurement orders, performance tracking, storage of devices…)
